About Joybringers Charity

Joybringers Charity is a registered charity based in Newcastle upon Tyne, dedicated to supporting children, young people and families to build brighter futures.

We believe that every child and young person deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and reach their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Through educational programmes, digital skills training, mentoring, wellbeing activities and community events, we help people develop confidence, gain practical skills and create positive opportunities for the future.

What We Do

We deliver a range of free and accessible programmes across Newcastle and the North East, supporting young people from ages 7 to 25.

Digital Skills & Coding

Coding, data analytics, R programming and digital skills training to help young people develop the tools needed for the modern world.

Employability & Career Support

CV clinics, mock interviews, career talks and confidence-building workshops to help young people and adults prepare for employment.

Mentoring & Personal Development

Guidance, positive role models and personal development support to build confidence, resilience and ambition in young people.

Community Activities

Family events, excursions, workshops, cultural activities and community projects that bring people together and strengthen local communities.

Health & Wellbeing

Promoting healthy lifestyles, positive wellbeing and opportunities for people to stay active, connected and supported.

All staff and volunteers working with children and young people undergo enhanced DBS checks. Our safeguarding policy is reviewed annually.
